The SBS is a universal towbar wiring kit that is easy to install.
It is compatible with 99.9% of vehicles, whether they are multiplexed or not, with or without BSI lighting control, and with or without LED lights.
The SBS unit protects the vehicle’s electronic system against any risk of electrical feedback from the trailer.
Two installation methods are available:
- Wire-to-wire (standard connection)
- Self-programming, which automatically detects the vehicle’s lights and greatly simplifies installation.
Particularly recommended for Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat vehicles, the SBS is completely transparent to the vehicle and saves a great deal of time during installation.

Applications of the SBS unit
SBS 7-8-13-pin
The SBS towbar wiring harness protects the vehicle against short circuits and other trailer malfunctions. It is suitable for vehicles with a multiplex system and enables automatic detection of position lights, indicators, brake lights and fog lights.
Twin [7-pin, 13-pin]
The TWIN is the ideal solution for vehicles such as the Audi Q3, Q5, Q7, Citroën Picasso / Space Tourer and DS7.

8-pin SBS for Ducato and Ford Transit
The wiring harness is a ‘plug-and-play’ fit for Fiat DUCATO, Citroën JUMPER and Peugeot BOXER (X250) motorhomes. The 8-pin harness enables control of the trailer’s signalling functions. It is particularly suitable for modern vehicles equipped with electronic and multiplexed systems.
